Christmas songs for economists

It’s been a worrying week, with all the talk that the Bank of England might change its mandate and deliberately stoke up inflation in the hope of stimulating the economy.
Perhaps this video will help put a smile on your face. It comes from the same people who did the wonderful Keynes vs. Hayek rap videos that have proven so popular. You can see them here and here.
Not only is it great fun, but it’s nice to realise that there are people out there who are on the side of savers and realise that saving is the solution, not the problem. You might need to be a bit of an economics wonk to get the most out of it, though.

For those who may be interested: The podcasts from Econ Talk with Russ Roberts(one of the individuals behind the Keynes v Hayek video) are well worth taking a look at.

It just proves that Economics is a pseudo science. If you got ten Economic Gurus together, you would end up with ten different answers to ten different questions.
